Why should developmental disorders be treated at an early age?
It is especially helpful & important for children to have their first visit to the dentist by the time they are about 6 years old, in order to determine whether or not there is an occlusion problem, as well as the treatment schedule. There are orthodontic problems that need to be corrected immediately, because they can cause very serious orthodontic problems, while other times the start of orthodontic treatment is necessary to be postponed for some years later (9-11 years).
