AIMS: Maxillary expansion treatment has been used for more than a century to correct maxillary transverse deficiency. The aim of this presentation is to present a variant that is nickel-free and can be used for patients with a nickel allergy.

MATERIALS AND METHOD: In cooperation with an orthodontic specialist laboratory, a process has been optimized and used to create, with a combination of titanium castings and a ready-made titanium hyrax screw, a nickel-free model casting of rapid palatal expander.

RESULTS: The Titanium Rapid Palatal Expander has already been successfully produced for over 30 patients
